If you’re looking for a way to block live-streamed tweets, the Chrome Extension can help you do just that.
The extension, which is still in its alpha stage, can be downloaded here.
This extension, dubbed “Twitter Live Streamer”, blocks any tweet containing the word “live” from appearing on your screen.
If you are already using the extension and have a Twitter account, you can simply click the link to install the extension.
Once installed, you will be able to block Twitter streams in three steps.
First, you need to click on the “More” button at the bottom of the page.
Once there, you’ll need to enter the following information: – Twitter Username (you’ll need this to set the extension to allow the user to tweet) – Username of the user who is using the Twitter account you want to block (this is the user you want the extension blocked from using) – URL of the live stream you want blocked (this can be found on the bottom right of the stream) – Number of tweets you want allowed to stream (the lower this number, the higher the likelihood of the tweet being blocked).
Once you’ve entered all the information, click “OK” to accept the settings.
Once you’re finished, click on “More Settings” to enable the extension, and click “Disable” to block any stream.
The following screenshot shows the results from disabling Twitter Live Streaming.
After the stream has been disabled, you should see the following message: You can now access live tweets on Twitter.
