The NFL Network will stream the New York Mets at home on Sunday, Sept. 24 against the Washington Nationals.
This season, the Mets have been a regular fixture on the schedule of the postseason and have not lost in New York since 2012.
The Mets’ road schedule in 2018 included back-to-back losses to the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals.
The Nats are 2-1 in the postseason, with the final game being a home-and-home series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The game between the Mets and Nationals will mark the first meeting between the teams in Nationals Park since 2015.
The teams met in the NLDS in Washington in April.
In the Mets’ first game at Nationals Park, Bryce Harper and Bryce Harper Jr. hit back-and–forth singles off Matt Williams in the fourth inning to earn the win.
The Nats (42-35) are coming off back-breaker wins over the New England Patriots and Chicago Cubs in the wild-card round of the playoffs.
Washington is currently the best record in the AL West and is looking to end a three-game losing streak to the Mets.
The Nationals are on a five-game winning streak, while the Mets are in the midst of a seven-game home winning streak.
