Dan Shapiro has officially signed a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers, according Twitter.
Shapir will make $7.5M this year, according a source close to the deal, per ESPN.
The contract was negotiated by Shapir’s agent, Nick Novak.
The contract includes $4M guaranteed in 2017 and $4.5 million in 2018, per the source.
Shapire will make an additional $2.5m in 2019 and $2M in 2020, per a source.
Shappiro is a five-time Pro Bowl selection, including in 2009.
He has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He has also appeared in eight Super Bowls and has five Pro Bowl appearances.
He signed with the 49ers as a free agent in 2017.
The 49ers did not announce a contract.
